To ensure accessibility to science education programs for as many visitors as possible, all levels of the ISTA Main Building and Science Experience Lab, as well as restrooms, are barrier-free and accessible via appropriate passenger elevators for visitors with disabilities.

The standard languages for content are German and English and follow ISTA’s communication template. Texts in the VISTA Lab and within exhibitions contain multiple levels that allow visitors to engage meaningfully with the content on display, despite differences in age, background, language level, learning abilities, and prior knowledge. Where possible, simple language is used.
The VISTA team strives to reflect the international and open community of ISTA and to provide additional materials in other languages when necessary.
